Hunter Marketing Group is headed by 2 partners: Ben Laifsky and Autumn Hood.
We began working together in 2007. The project was to create a program for our sales team that sold marketing solutions to local businesses. Ben was the head of operations and product and Autumn lead our fulfillment team. At the program’s peak, we built hundreds of websites, search campaigns and videos on a monthly basis. This is not to say we did any of this alone; we were joined by incredible team members and leaders every step of the way. But we were the first and last two to work on the program.
Yet the entire time we worked together in corporate life, a few things became clear. First, we worked well together and trusted each other. Second, we both had a tough time when circumstances stopped us from taking actions we felt were important. It seemed to us that in corporate life, there was always a reason that you couldn’t do the obvious, right, next thing. The thing you feel will improve your program for clients and employees. The thing you believe in. To us, corporate life meant compromise, whether it is to satisfy the Market each quarter, to match a new executive’s vision or because we had to appeal to a new investor.
When that door closed, we escaped corporate life to build a business that focuses on doing great work and building value for our clients. We reject one-size-fits-all marketing solutions and we have the skill and versatility to use the right tools for the job. Our North Star is providing value for our clients as opposed to satisfying the Stock Market or investors.
Since 2013, Hunter Marketing Group has been dedicated to providing excellent marketing solutions to our clients.
